What is a shower drain?

A shower drain is a device installed in the shower floor to drain off water. It usually consists of a grate or cover that covers an opening connected to the home's plumbing system. 

Traditional drains : 

TThe most common on the market, traditional drains feature a round or square grate. Available in a wide range of sizes and styles, they adapt to various types of shower, from the most modest and classic to the most luxurious and modern. Although they are generally installed in the center of the shower, they can also be positioned in the corners or on the sides of the basin, depending on the slope of the floor.

Linear drain  

Linear shower drains are a long slot covered by a grid, often placed along a wall or at the shower entrance.

They offer an elegant design and allow the installer to slope the shower floor in a single direction. This is an advantage over traditional central drains, where the floor must be sloped in four directions to drain water properly.

Tiled drains

Tiled drains offer an aesthetic and functional solution for modern showers. These drains can be finished in the same way as the rest of the shower, allowing ceramic tiles to be added for harmonious integration. By opting for a tiled drain, you ensure visual continuity and elegant style for your bathroom.
