Installation guide : How to install wall covering panels

Step  1 

Start by preparing the surface on which you wish to install the wallcovering. Clean the surface of any excess dust or grease, and make sure there's nothing on it that will interfere with the adhesive's adhesion.

Step 2

Before cutting the wall panels, check the flatness of the walls using a two-meter ruler in different directions. If the difference is greater than three millimeters, the surface must be levelled with a filler that remains attached to the wall.

Step  3 

Measure and mark all existing wall elements where the wall panel will be placed. Depending on the type of cut required, use either a circular saw or an electric drill. Important: the cut must always be made on the decorated side of the panel. For a straight cut, we recommend using the cutting guide.

Step 4

Once the cut is complete, sand the edge of the panel with a sanding sponge or 120-grit sandpaper for a better finish. All panels have a small watermark in the top left-hand corner. This detail will be very useful when planning a placement scheme following the numerical order.

Step  5

Remove the protective film and apply the adhesive to the undecorated side of the panel.

Step 6

Important: the adhesive bead must not exceed 3 mm in thickness. Apply adhesive around the perimeter of the panel, adding vertical lines every 10 cm.

Step  7

Apply the panel to the surface. You'll be able to adjust the panel for about 15-20 minutes after installation. We recommend a 3 mm cross between panels.

Step 8

Now it's time to apply the grout. Place tape around the joint to ensure that the rest of the surface remains clean when you apply the grout.

Step  9

Wait 20 minutes and clean up excess grout with a damp sponge.

Step 10

Let the grout dry and enjoy your new decor!
